Left Stony Clove around 10:15 for the far summit along the Devlis Path. Weather was beautiful. Sunny and warm on the way up to the Plateau Mountain Overlook. Great views of Hunter and the Colonels Chair. Continued to the 2nd view north of Roundtop and Kaaterskill High Peak. Sugraloaf was a bit socked in here. Made the true summit and continued about 300 feet down to the view over the Hudson Valley and Sugarloaf. At this point the clouds had cleared for excellent views. On the way back we flushed another grouse. Also saw a garter snake near the 3000' mark. Great day. Met some nice folks up there as well. This was #25 for me.
