10/6/09- Completed a circle route up and over Plateau. Parked our car at Devils Tombstone Campsite and rode bikes to the top of Notch Inn Road. There is new construction at the end of the road and the trail head is not as described on the NYNJTC web site. There is no sign at the trail head, a small parking area on the right and the ascent begins on a DEC yellow blazed trail (not blue not Long Path aqua). In about 15 minutes the yellow trail intersects the blue trail and Long path where there is a sign. The rest of the trail is as described where you take the devils path along the long ridge top and back down to the campsite. The new section of trail up Daley Rideg is fantastic and an enormous improvement to the steep ankle breaking ascent from the campground.
