There is a light covering of snow at the trailhead. The old logging road was mostly clear of snow because it was running like a brook.
From the beginning of the foot trail at the steep part there is a thin layer of consolidated snow all the way to the top, albeit with bare stretches here and there.
The ledges themselves were fairly clear of snow, but icy first thing in the morning.
Special equipment: Waterproof boots helpful. Light traction could be used in places, but it wasn't really necessary.
This was my ninth annual Thanksgiving hike on Pleasant Mt., one dogless, six with Duffy and the last two with Lauky. A great way to work up an appetite.
