Pocumtuck Ridge Tr (MA) traverse - Sunday May 4th

The trail is 15 miles long, starting at the southern base of South Sugarloaf in S Deerfield MA and ending in Greenfield a little beyond the Poet's Seat Tower. It crosses South Sugarloaf (652'), North Sugarloaf (791'), Pocumtuck Rock (846'), Canada Hill (ele. ?), Sachem Head (452') and Rocky Mountain (492'). Along the way we will get views of the Connecticut River, the Deerfiled River Valley, the Berkshire Mtns and the Southern Green Mtns. We will pass ski areas both active and abandoned, the remains of an old cinder-block slaughterhouse, the Bear's Den (an open fissure in a cliff face), communications towers, traprock ledges , and other features of interest.

I'm thinking of a meet time at the southern trailhead of 7am.
