I also know about 100 Norwegians who are probably already in line ahead of me. I'm amazed they even have to announce this opening. Norwegians of an outdoor bent are generally ga-ga over Svalbard.
I have an acquaintance over here who just returned from a research trip there. Everyone who went into the field had to qualify with a rifle.
My all-time favorite road sign translates as "Applies to all of Svalbard":
