Powwow Pond and a Million Water Lilies

We had a great two days over the 4th at Kevin and Judy's. Great party, food, friends. The paddling on Powwow Pond and the river (in their back yard) was spectacularly. Kevin said "A Million Water Lilies". I think that may be underestimating! What a beautiful spot! The pond plus the Powwow River from Country Pond combine for a length of close to 4 miles, so lots of area to explore. The marshes to the southwest of New Boston road are particularly interesting.

Southern NH, not far from Exeter.

Looks like you had a lot of fun.
I paddle there frequently, particularly in the spring, as it is just down the road from us.
