Presi traverse on June 17-18

Hi I will be in the Presi traverse on june 17. Did some one want
to join on the sunday to traverse it again in the other direction
Crawford notch-Appalachia parking. May skip most of the summit in the
return. Just want to be over tree line two day in a row.

I'm not sure if I'll even be able to walk on Sunday, let alone do another traverse.

Hey Rejean,

I was thinking of hiking both directions on Saturday...why wait for Sunday...it's such an easy hike...we can all just jog back bouncing over the summits and rolling down the final mountain right into the parking lot.

Wow! You must be a very stong hiker...have fun.

I plan to be very hungover on sunday - after all the partying sat eve, so count me out - not that I would do 2 in row anyway.

Double Presi Traverse

I have a couple of running buds who did the double Presi without stopping in between. They went up Valley Way and hit all the peaks on their way to Crawford Notch. (They DID go all the way down to the highway, too.) On the return, they went around most of the summits.

They did the double mostly because they didn't want to deal with carspotting or hitching a ride. My friend Deb: "Well, we'll just hike all the way back too!"

Better people than I. At the very least, I'll get a blister that would make me stop at Rt 302.
