Trail Conditions: Crusted snow/frozen granular/ice - consistent hardpack, no more than two inches deep.
Special Equipment Required: Traction. (My Stabilicers were just right)
Comments: Moses Sweetser said good things about this Trail and Summit in his 1876 Guide, but then it fell off the map, as it were. Great views and just the right (lower) elevation for this shoulder season.
Yesterday's ice storm made the trees pretty but wasn't serious hereabouts - hardly any damage that I could see.
