Climbed Sunday 2/20. Perfect day with a cool start. 0700 start from Loj to Lake Arnold to leanto at R/C herdpath. Perhaps 6 inches new snow in rut. Two in front bogged down, so we finished the track to Redfield summit. Clear, Cool, Sunny, Light Breeze. To Cliff herdpath, not open. Shortjob tracked the six inches of new snow to the true summit. Several miscues before the first cliff, until the faint track found again. Keep left. All steep sections done with only snowshoes, no problem. Old tracks on top of first bump wander around but make it to the right spot eventually. Great butt sliding some of the downhill. Snack at the leanto. Back to loj via Lakes Colden and Avalanche. 19 miles and 11.5 hours. PERFECT.
