Conditions: Muddy, Buggy, Snowy
Special Eqpt: Boots/Gaiters (no traction needed)
Upper works to flowed lands: Bugs are starting to come out, trail is a muddy mess as usual
Flowed lands to Uphill Leanto: Trail is still somewhat muddy, small sections of snow that don't affect hiking much
Leanto to Redfield: Herd path is well defined, snow at higher elevations, but it didn't hurt progress much
Cliff: Muddy but nothing exceptional
Leanto to Lake Tear: Snow (1-2' in the trail trench) at higher elevations, makes it hard to move fast.
Lake Tear to Gray: Not bad, very little snow
Lake Tear to Skylight: Snow (1-3' in the trail trench) made climbing difficult.
Most of the snow is hopefully gone with the warmer temps but be prepared for slower travel due to the mud and snow.
