There is a thread on the AMC forums about getting to Redington from the north, rather than from Caribou Valley Road. AMC Redington Thread. It appears that the poster found a good route leading to the So. Crocker - Redington Col over logging roads. Here's a map of his route: Redington Route map
I know folks here have approached from that direction to get to Black Nubble and other 3K peaks, but this looks like a good possibility to consider for Redington, considering the fact that CV Rd. seems to be getting worse as the years go by.
Anyone else do Redington from that direction lately? Comments?
