Maybe somewhat off-topic but nonetheless...
A friend of mine and I are going to CNYO REGAINE IV this upcoming Mother's Day weekend (5/10-11) - all rules and details can be found in http://cnyo.us.orienteering.org/2008/forms/Regaine_IV.doc - in essence, navigating 24 hours in the woods taking turns one teammate at a time. Decent physical shape and compass/map/orienteering proficiency are expected - though neither of us is a marathoner by any stretch ;-)) There could be up to 8 people on the team and as far as I am concerned - the more the merrier. Thus passing on the information and invitation ;-))
