Yesterday (Wed. Aug. 17) we witnessed what appeared to be a rescue helicopter land on the summit of Mt. Eisenhower at about 3:30 in the afternoon. Took off again after about ten minutes. We were coming down the Jewell Trail so it was tough to see exactly what happened. (Or even if it was a rescue.)
I've looked around but haven't found any info. Was anybody around there yesterday. Just curious.
