We actually summited Aconcagua on the same day (2/17/06) via the False Polish Route! We were in different groups but moved along camps on bascially the same schedule. I wish I could be with you on this one!

I know your determination from that trip and I hope the weather gods will be with you!

Give some support to the local monasteries up there I heard from a lama (who have been living in Thyangboche for a number of years) here in Boston yesterday who said that so many climbers come to Everest and realize that the people there are so poor but the climbers don't do much about it. Helping the locals is helping yourself......it kind of applies everywhere.....
