Trail for the most part was in very good condition despite all the rain we have been having. Only hard part was at Mary Lousie Pond where the trail was under water. The recent trail crew did cut some small logs and brush which you can cross on and work your way to a large rock. Hiking poles came in real handy at this spot. Some snow and ice patches near Giant's summit but it will be gone in a day or so. Water crossing at the Giant washbowl is fine. The time it took us to do the hike was 9.5 hours and we spent very little time looking at views due to the weather. Came out to Chapel Pond trail head.
