Good ski in Rogers Rock State Campground near Fort Ticonderoga...made it onto the lake George and over to the rock.
Large amounts of water in between the snow and ice fooled me not to venture out to Anthony's Nose. Later I deduced the water was flooding up from fishing holes presumably because the heavy snow is weighing down the ice.
Snow heavy and wet--will undoubtedly freeze hard until fresh snow comes.
Parking lot is plowed-- great place for snow shoes as well.
