Route to Nippletop Slide?

How does one get from Elk Pass to the base of the Nippletop slide. I understand its a tough bushwhack but thats all I know.

At the point where the Nippletop Trail heads left up and away from Elk Pass, go right (south) into Elk Pass. The bushwhack is a little tough to the base, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is a herd path or signs of one around there. If you go up hill a little ways and hike on the side hill, you will eventually cross it. It's easy to find, and easy to climb.
