Where does the bushwack to rusk start? Just past the bridge or a little farther up, at the hairpin turn to the right? Looking at the map, it I start north at the hairpin turn, I should run right into the trail on the ridge.

Where does the bushwack to rusk start? Just past the bridge or a little farther up, at the hairpin turn to the right? Looking at the map, it I start north at the hairpin turn, I should run right into the trail on the ridge.

That's up to you, but usually we start at the hair pin turn, and head up the hog back off to the left. You can also go up the drainage into the col and then turn left. Eventually either way leads to a herd path.
