Date of Hike: June 18, 2011
Trail Conditions: dry, a little bit of mud in a couple of spots, small blueberries just beginning to form.
Special Equipment Required: camera to watch and get pictures of the other folks who brought specialized equipment.
Comments: Optional - many people on the summit but only a few walked up and down. other group brough parachutes & they para-glided down. (not old school kites that hang gliders used to use, lookedreally peaceful and extreme at the same time.
6/30 update, well for the past few days I've had a bad case of PI on my forearms and my left foot. I had a blister on my left heel so when we reached the top, I took off my boot, socks & sat back & watched the para-gliders. The summit is rocky & had fresh grass & another plant mixed in with the grass. PI pattern is consistent with how I was relaxing. Sat for many minutes like that, Need more hydrocortisone cream!
