Trail had previously been broken to the summit from the Garden via Orebed Brook. It is in excellent condition. The Range trail from Saddleback to Basin has not been broken. The Garden parking lot is in poor condition. It has not been plowed and there are piles of snow everywhere so that only about two thirds of the spaces are available. I got to the parking lot before 7:30 AM and was able to park only because someone graciously moved his car to give me just enough space to fit.
