Feb 26- The Orebed trail was broken out by two fellas on 2/25 to Saddleback. Our group of 5 coninued from the col to Gothics and onto Armstrong. Difficult, deep snow conditions as expected, 1-2+ feet, drifts and very difficult finding trail markers to Armstrong. At least four others followed, so well tracked. Exhuasted on Armstrong we doubled back to find Gothics to Saddleback tracks gone from wind drifts. Snow shoes needed, poles helpful.
