Sandwich Dome & Jenning’s Peak via Sandwich Mtn & Drakes Brook Trails 6-29-10
Trail Conditions: Trails saw some recent rain, so rocks and roots were a bit slick today. Areas of mud up and down both trails. No blowdowns!
Comments: A loud “Thank You” to the trail maintainer for doing such a great job removing tons of debris off the trails. I remember this spring encountering dozens of blowdowns on Sandwich Mtn Trail and the spur trail to Jenning’s Peak; the trail maintainer was hard at work on that day clearing away the crap. Today, I didn’t come across one blowdown….that’s a lot of hard work!
Left the car @ 2PM and got back @ 5:23PM.
