sandwich mtn trail?

Hi all,

Thanks for all the information -- I read these forums all the time.

I'm planning a trip in Sunday to Jennings Mtn up the Sandwich mtn trail? Any thoughts on conditions? How will the first crossing be?
Has anyone just used the road crossing and bushwacked back up to the trail after the first crossing?

Will snowshoes be required? I'll probably bring them anyway. I'll have microspikes.

I haven't needed to do it myself, but I've read reports that the bushwack is very doable.

I don't know the current conditions, but the bushwhack is easy. Just cross the stream on the road and after about 50 ft head up the bank. You'll cross a narrow field then enter the woods. Angle towards the stream and you'll intersect the trail at or near the crossing.
