Tuesday of last week, while in the Sewards we met two climbers who had been to Santanoni the day before and reported that the direct trail wasn't flooded. Nevertheless the beaver may have already rebuilt the dam, if that's the case just go left for a while, while staying on the flat. At first it will be open, then rather tight, you will soon get to the little but deep drainage that used to be easy to cross and maybe be overflowing, there too go left a very short way to be able to cross without getting wet. After that crossing you should be able to immediately loop back to the 1890's Tahawus Club Trail and be on your steep way to Santanoni Mt.
