I have a "free pass" on Saturday - my wife & kids are away. I'd like to get a 2-for or 3-for on Saturday.
Possibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Up Ammo to either:
a. Monroe -> Pierce
b. Monroe -> Washington
2. Up Jewell (no evidence it is broken out) to Washington and down to Monroe and out via Ammo - wind more at our backs the whole way, but Washington comes earlier in the day and the Jewell broken out status is a ?
3. Wildcats
4. Osceolas
5. Carters - anyone know if they are broken out?
There could be some skiing involved along Mt. Clinton Road, either in the AM up from Crawford's to the Ammo, or down in the afternoon, or both. With option 1 and the right carspot or skispot, the a or b part can be deferred until the hut.
Please PM me if interested, or if you want me along to help trailbreaking something else. In general, I hike about 1.5mph in summer and 1.4mph in winter including stops. I don't like to take long breaks on the way up or down. I expect conditions will not be conducive to 1.4mph.
MWO Summits Forecast:
NW 45-60 mph early, 30-45 mph midday, 15-30 mph later w/ higher gusts early
