Conditions: Trail from dam to Gothics junction in usual great shape. (Thanks, ATIS!) Beyond Gothics junction, some icy patches. Others were making it up in bare boots, as we descended, but our party of two was very happy to be wearing Stabilicers.

Comment: We met a couple coming down from Gothics. They had ascended via Beaver Meadow Falls Trail and said they had to bushwhack around several icy areas, which is why they chose not to descend via the same route.
