This is looking like an anything's possible weekend. Will the 3.5 miles of road be driveable? Skiable? I don't know.
The predicted lows Fri-Sat. suggest rock hard snow for the bushwhack up Sawtooth 4 and 2 but prbably soggy on the way down. (I'm taking Northern Lite 25 inch snowshoes.)
Will all the snow have melted off the road by Sunday rendering the skis useless dead weight?
Will the creek crossings be hairy?
If you are dying to find out the answers to these pressing questions then come and join me tommorow night for an exciting (not too I hope) ski into the Blueberry Lean-to.
