Sawyer River Road, Closed?

I was just wondering, does anyone know if Sawyer River Road is closed and if it's not, do you know when it will be closed for the season?

The Forest Service Road Conditions page has not been updated since 10/10.

It will be closed when conditions dictate that it be cloased.

Not very helpful, but predicting when it will be closed means predicting the New Englan weather. It would be nice if it could be done, but it cannot!!

Just walked up Tripoli Road from the I93 gate to the trailhead at the hight of land; the road is totally free of snow or ice. I am therefore sure that the Sawyer River Road is currently open.

Just got a PM asking me if that means that Tripoli Road is closed. It is open; I walk up it often for exercise (less than hiking, more that Rt 175).

Sorry for the possible confusion!!
