Note: These group tours tell you all about wind energy but don't go to the true summit which is not yet on their site
Subject: Searsburg Wind Plant Summer/Fall Schedule
Thank you for your interest in wanting to take a tour of the Searsburg Wind Plant. The Summer/Fall Schedule is listed below. Times of the tours are: 10am, 11:30am, 1pm and 2:30pm.
The guided tour usually last about an hour and half, with the group meeting at the bottom and carpooling up to the top. There is no food or drink allowed up top and there is only a port-a-toilet, so please plan accordingly. The closest services are in the town of Wilmington. You must also stay with the group. We go unless there is lightening.
If you decide to take a tour, please contact me, Beth Brown at [email protected] to let me know the date you have chosen and how many in your group and if you need directions.
