Trail Conditions: Heavy rains last Thursday into Friday made for quite muddy conditions for much of the Blueberry Trail. Exercise caution on the boardwalks, as some are loose. The herd path has been flagged to keep traffic on a more consistent line, limiting erosion which has gotten pretty bad up on the steep sections. Very muddy and slippery. No problem with brook crossings. Nice job 46ers, clearing blowdowns.
Special Equipment Required: Gaiters recommended. Waterproof boots with good traction.
Comments: Great hike, in spite of the conditions. Please don't walk around mud and widen the mud pits -- trust your waterproof boots and gaiters.
