From parking lot to herd path easy going though with many long muddy sections as this was day six of six straight days of rain. Mud usually ankle deep so it is easy to walk straight through the middle.
46 er flagged herd path muddy and very wet often with flowing water. Path easy to follow with plenty of handhold where necessary.
Waterproof boots with a tread that you trust on steep wet rock helpful. Calf high gators strongly very recommended. Hiking stick / poles / for extra support point in tricky spots also very helpful.
