Trail Conditions: The trail from the parking lot to the Ward Brook lean-to was in perfect shape in some spots, and verry muddy in few spots.
Special Equipment Required: Gaiters useful. Insect repellant could be a good idea. Mosquitos are out. They will attack you if you don't move. I haven't seen any black flies today.
Comments: A very nice hike. Two nice lookouts on the summit. The trail is very fast and flat until you start the herdpath up Seymour. The trail is steep after that. I've tried to climb a bit by the slide but it's very very slippery. The herd path is the better option.
