Has anyone information regarding the driveability of Corey's Road to the summer trailhead?
Has the Ward Brk Trail been broken to Seymour or the leantos since the Valentine's Day storm or the recent smaller storm?

Thanks in advance!

PS Any interest in joining a small group going in this week?! :)

Coreys Road

I just spoke with the DEC ranger (Julie Harjung, 518-891-7379). The Town snowplow turns around about 1.3 miles before the bridge. Road is often driveable as far as the horse assembly area at start of Raquette Falls trail, but probably not with new snow that fell last night. Caretaker of Ampersand Club sometimes plows the road all the way past the summer trailhead, but there is one uphill stretch on the way out that can be a problem. Tire chains are advised, even if the road is plowed. I don't think I'll drive that far, even if the road is plowed. New snow while you're car is parked at the summer trailhead may leave you stranded.

I'm going in Sat AM for Calkins Brook herd path.
