Great hike. Complete whack to Sherrill (Catskill 3500 peak). Mostly open woods. Only ran into a faint herd path when nearing the summit plateau. Completely open woods, temperature around 58 and breezy all day. Saw 3 or 4 clouds...maybe.

We then whacked off Sherrill down the ridge toward S. Sherrill (Catskill 200 peak). Nice woods, but the whack made easier by picking up a woods/ATV road about half way down to the col that ran all the way up and over S. Sherrill and right back to the road. Open woods on top, nice by screened views. First time on Sherrill for my companions and first time on SS for all.
2 pooches on the hike got along great tagteaming the chippies.
