I skied it Sunday - here's the scoop:
Loj to Dam - quite skiable, which is miraculous, given this winter so far.
Dam to 50 meter bridge - along Phelps brook, really rough and rocky. I kept my skis on all the way up, but coming down here, there's about a quarter-mile section we all walked. You could technically ski it, but just on a thin ribbon of snow, with no room at all between the rocks to check your speed in any way.
50 meter bridge to Indian falls - that first 100 yds has the usual large rocks sticking out, but all in all, not too bad, and above that section, it's pretty good.
Indian Falls to Phelps trail junction at 4,900' - Sweet. Very sweet!
Phelps trail junction to summit - didn't try it, thought it might be icy. But, for what it's worth, it was a gorgeous day and the bowl looked good and I wanted to...
All in all, a lot better than I expected it to be...
