What a great trail!![Cool  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Daniel Doan trail is free of snow to about 2500 feet. Below this the trail is covered with Trout Lilies. So far just the foliage, but give it a couple weeks and this will be a great wildflower hike. From 2500 feet to the summit the snow is mostly consolidated, but there was some postholing. There is about two feet at the summit. Views at the tower were spectacular. The entire spine of the Greens, Willoughby Gap, Burke, Moosilauke, Bonds, Washington, Tripyramids, Cube, Cardigan, Ascutney closer by. Awesome! I removed all but two blowdowns, both of which were to big for me to deal with, but are easily passable.
