Peaks: South and Middle Carter - Sat. 1/30/0
Trails: 19-mile Brook Trail; Carter Dome Trail; Carter-Moriah Trail
Conditions: Packed / consolidated snow the entire way. You could bare boot it with light traction, although snowshoes on the ridge are a good idea as there were occasional drifts. Two open brook crossings on the Carter-Dome Tr. were easily negotiated using a combination of young ice bridges and rock hopping.
Misc: We met folks both coming and going out further north via the Imp Trail, so that is broken out, too.
