Solved: onboard tracks on GPS60CSx

I could not get my 60CSx to display the tracklog while hiking, only afterward.
Thanks to someone here, I rechecked the manual, and tried the 'auto' setting and, shazam, last week, there are the little breadcrumbs showing as we did a couple of bushwhack peaks.

We had a similar problem on the bake-off. We played with the same setting (map_page>menu>setup>tracks >track_log) in the hopes of increasing the rate of trackpoint recording and the tracklog disappeared from the screen. (The track was still being recorded.)

Turned out, we really wanted to be playing with the settings on the menu>tracks page. Still don't really understand exactly what the map_page>menu>setup>tracks >track_log setting does...

I've been doing some 60cs vs 60csx bakeoff style experiments recently and have checking out some of these details. I'll be posting some results soon...
