something for thanksgiving Thu/Fri

this recluse hiker is in search of moderate outdoor activity on Thu 11/24 or Fri 11/25, not too far from southern NH. Suggestions/company welcome.

I've been mulling over the idea of staying at Cardigan Lodge, they killed the thanksgiving program that used to be held there, though, & I still bear a bit of a grudge.
