Today, 2/25/06, I went for a walk with my father around the town of Chester and we stuck to trails as much as possible. (Its tough to do so with so many roads crisscrossing in southeast NH) What started out as a nice light snow rapidly deteriorated to a heavy onslaught of white gold near the end of the trip. We walked through many different kinds of forests, discovered several large beaver ponds, and rediscovered old cellar holes along old town roads. We ended up walking almost 8 miles in the trip, and only about 1.5 miles was actually on the road, so we did very well. I have some pics to share, I do think Chester is a great town and I hope developments stop! It's one of the few towns left in this part of the state that has a large amount of undeveloped land left. So much, that moose have moved in recently!
