South Meadow road condition?

I'm planning to hike this Sunday, and wonder about starting from South Meadow. Does anyone know if I can drive in that one mile in a compact car?
Is it rutty or muddy? Thanks.

Yes Mark, I know!

It's CLOSED! It must have been open Fri or Saturday, because at least 3 cars were in there. But by about 9:30AM Sunday, there was a big "Road Closed" sign at the jct. w/ Loj Road.
