South Meadows trailhead in winter

I never been at South Meadows trailhead in winter,
is anybody know how is it now?
is the road diveable for a regular car?
can we park near the trailhead?
or it is better to start at the Loj?

A good place to park and camp. If you have low clearance and rear wheel drive, walk the road first to check conditions. A shovel and tow rope would be a good idea for most people. The road can get narrow when passing another vehicle.
