Trail Conditions: Dry, remarkably some ice

Comments: I bare booted all the way up and down as I was careful to watch my step. The trail is 95% ice free, rocky up high and frozen so wearing crampons would be quite hard on the feet. Add in a slight bit of snow cover and the option of barebooting would rapidly go away. Good views, but the clouds from the upcoming storm dimmed the sun noticeably. Ran into one group equipped for full winter including some snowshoes.
