Trail Conditions: Hard crust snow everywhere. Wore snowshoes the whole way. Some previous barebooter tracks that switch to snowshoe tracks. Cleared a couple small blowdowns.

Oliverian Brook Trail - Previously broken trail, by skis and snowshoes. One crawl under blowdown that needs clearing. The "major tributary" crossing after Passaconaway cuttoff intersection was a little tricky. Water was not frozen enough to walk on, just had a hard slush consitency, so had to rock hop. Main brook crossing was easy as water was shallow enough to walk through. One point pas the second crossing the trail direction is a little unclear and there were tracks from previous fanning out. All but left most are dead ends. I only went as far as Square Ledge Branch Trail intersection but snowshoes tracks continued further.

Square Ledge Branch Trail - Was unbroken. Now has a single set of snowshoe tracks.

Square Ledge Trail - Was unbroken from Branch trail to just below shoulder past peak of Square Ledge. There a set of tracks (forestgnome?) which I picked up heading to the Passaconaway Trail cutoff.

Passaconaway Cutoff - no issues. There were also tracks coming from Passaconaway by the Square Ledge Trail.

Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes - useful, Poles - essential for water crossing and steep climb up Square Ledge
