Trail Conditions: Some muddy areas below 2000'. Minor snow and rail remnants above 3300'. Trail 98% dry. Rail can be walked around except in a few spots, but soft and shallow. No problem. Only dicey spot is short scramble just below top of Starr King, but traction not needed. Bare booted whole way.
Special Equipment Required: Poles useful. Snowshoes and microspikes got a free ride, but no work.
