Left the Loj late morning on a perfect sunny, blue sky day. The trail on the lower half was a little muddy as is the norm and the first stream crossing requires some rock hopping or shallow wading, but pretty easy either way. The upper half is typical trailess, at least according to my experience so far...blow downs, narrow trails, brushy etc, but nothing extreme. Careful attention makes navigation easy enough and the trail has been kept up enough as far as trailess go that its a fairly easy hike.
Black flies were bad at the junction between the two mountains and really bad at the overview spot on Street looking at the MacIntyre Range.
Waterproof boots, bug spray required...gaitors, poles helpful.
