Trail Conditions: Trail was very wet and muddy from recent snow melt and previous day hard rain. Lots of leaves on the trail, but herd path easily recognizable from footprints in the mud. Stream crossing at Indian Falls Brook difficult because of high water.
Equipment: High boots and / or gaitors would be helpful. Poles for stream crossing are a good idea, as is waterproof gloves. Attempting to throw your boots across the brook (as one fellow did), and having them caught in a tree (as happened) is not such a good idea.
