Trail conditions: mud. and lots of it. Herd path very easy to follow even with leaves covering ground. Crossing Indian Brook requires (very) waterproof boots, poles, and some skill, or ditch the boots for the crossing. Trail was very wet and muddy in some sections.
Special Equipment: waterproof boots a must. gaiters and poles helpful (although i didn't have the gaiters)
