Have not posted on this site in a while. A group of eight Albany ADK members began the trip south at 4 a.m. The trail to Table was packed. After Table we headed eastward toward Lone through 12 or so inches of light powder. The day was cold but the sky was mostly clear with some sunshine. The woods are open along the ridge to Lone and for a while after. The approach to Rocky is through dense spruce but by bushwhacking standards this area is semi-open. From the top of Rocky we headed northward to the Neversink valley. We travel along the Neversink, crossing twice to avoid side-hilling until we reach the trail to Table.
