Trail is now getting covered with falling leaves and muddy in a few spots. Water crossings were fine, but need to be careful- the rocks, seemed slippery today..up higher the slabs also needed caution with wet leaves adding to the slippery-ness. Colors were ok it was gray but improved as afternoon arrived..looks like the Attitash Trail is getting attention as past the last outlook there is serious trimming and saw work..Forest Service and private vehicle parked at trailhead must be combining efforts..unique views Moats to Chocorua to Passaconaway around to Hancocks and Carrigain etc.....short hike worth it.. regards Keith
